MSC Group, established in 1954 by Mr. M. Saha, is a renowned company that has made significant contributions to the agricultural industry in India. The company initially began its operations in the field of fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides. However, with the advent of the green revolution in the 1960s, MSC Group expanded its business to include various agricultural inputs.

In 1968, MSC Group opened branches in Raiganj, Siliguri, Krishnagar, Kolkata, and Berhampur, further establishing its presence and reach across different regions. This expansion allowed the company to cater to a broader customer base and provide agricultural solutions to farmers in those areas.

It is worth mentioning that Mr. Late Mukundalal Saha, the founder of MSC Group, played a pivotal role in developing.

The agricultural sector. In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, he also founded the Malda Marchant Association in 1955. This association aimed to bring together traders and merchants in the region, fostering cooperation and collaboration among them. 

Mr. Saha's contributions extended beyond business and trade. To honor Mukunbadlal's contributions to society, a market was established in his name as "Mukunda Lal Saha Poura Bazar," located at Rabindra Avenue. Furthermore, he held the esteemed position of President of the “All Bengal Traders Association”, demonstrating his leadership and influence in the business community.

In 2009, MSC Group ventured into a new sector with the launch of MSC Construction. This expansion showcased the company's adaptability and willingness to explore different industries while leveraging its experience and expertise gained over the years.
